DynaPortal Software Company began offering its software as a service in June 2000. Originally termed an Appplication Service Provider (ASP), the latest name for providing software with solutions is "Software as a Service" (SaaS).
Our ASP/SaaS programs provide the use of the software and hosting for an affordable monthly fee. At first the ASP/SaaS option was appropriate for those on a limited startup budget, for those wanting to "test the waters" of their business model before committing to a material investment, or for those whose needs were short term. It is quickly becoming a preferred alternative to purchasing software and operating servers in-house.
We offer a variety of ASP/SaaS account options:
Standard Shared Server ASP/SaaS Accounts
Standard shared accounts feature the software entirely managed by DynaPortal Software Company. Your site will be set up and ready for you to simply change out site graphics, specify global page design characteristics, and enter content. Standard Accounts require no Web page design nor programming expertise on your part.
No FTP access to the site is provided for Shared Accounts. If desired, any changes to the site's design templates and custom programming would be performed by us, leaving you to focus on your e-Business and not its software.
e-Business Shared Server ASP/SaaS Accounts
This account is offered to more technical site operators who have in-house (or contract) expertise with Web page design/HTML skills. e-Business Accounts provide an additional development/staging site.
FTP access to the development site is provided for the client to modify site design templates. Additional fees would apply for DynaPortal Software Company to perform custom site design, graphics, and programming services. An e-Business Shared Server Account is required for any significant amount of design or software customization for testing purposes.
Dedicated Server ASP/SaaS Accounts
Dedicated server ASP/SaaS are also available. A single Web server can be accomodated with us providing domain name, email and database hosting services. FTP access is provided to the site for customizing design. A dedicated server is required for hosting DynaBiz Web sites. |
